Rob Friesen, President, QA Bearing Technologies
QA Bearing is pleased to announce that Rob Friesen has joined our team as President.
Rob is an experienced manager with a professional, customer focused approach to the bearing business. He is joining us from Bearing and Transmission where he began as Shipper/Receiver in Swift Current, managed and grew the branch in Fort Mc Murray, and was most recently Regional Manager for Alberta. Rob has worked with Stephen Thompson in the past when they led Bearing and Transmission into the ISO certification process. Their complementary skill sets will serve QA Bearing's customers well.
Rob is an experienced manager with first rate organizational and administrative skills who also has a thorough knowledge of our customer's industries and operations.
Exciting times are on the horizon for QA Bearing Technologies, and Rob looks forward to working with our Customers, Suppliers, and our Staff to ensure that QA Bearing remains at the forefront of the Customized Bearing Industry.
Stephen Thompson, VP Engineering & Sales, QA Bearing
QA Bearing Technologies is pleased to announce that Stephen Thompson has moved into the newly created position of Vice President, Engineering and Sales.
With our bearing designs evolving and our operations growing at an extremely rapid pace, QA Bearing created the position of VP, Engineering and Sales to keep our customers supplied with the most advanced bearing technologies.
Stephen Thompson successfully led the company as President for the past five years. His experience in bearing engineering as well as his knowledge of our customer's industries make Stephen the only choice for the position. The change in duties will free him to focus on new product design, bearing failure analysis, technical sales and new market development, strengthening the overall organization.
DynaIndustrial Regina Opens US Office
Riccardo Melchior has recently joined DynaIndustrial as a Design Engineer for the Flat Hot Rolling Products. Melchior’s engineering experience started in Italy back in the 1990 when he was hired by Danieli & C. as a young engineer for the newly established Flat Product Rolling Division. In 2003 while at the head of the technical office he became responsible for Danieli Hot Rolling Flat Products; in the summer of 2006 he moved to the American branch of Danieli Corporation to better follow the North American market.
Riccardo operates out of the new DynaIndustrial branch office in Wexford, located 20 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
Quality Focus Continues with Registration to ISO 9001:2008
DynaIndustrial and Precision Hydrojet have been registered to the ISO 9001:2000 standard since 2006 and they have now achieved re-certification to the advanced standard ISO 9001:2008. The process is intensive, and our customers will be happy to know that our quality systems are meeting and exceeding ISO requirements. DynaIndustrial's two locations in Regina, and both DynaIndustrial and Precision Hydrojet in Saskatoon, are the first DynaVenture Group companies to gain official ISO 9001 certification, with more to follow shortly.
Accutek Innovations Becomes ChoiceTel Networks
Leading communications solution provider Accutek Innovations, announced that the company has changed its name to ChoiceTel Networks.
The name change is designed to better align its corporate identity in providing organizations with better value and choices for all their communications needs.
